Facilities

Braithwaite Park is a fully fenced outdoor space situated on the corner of Scarborough Beach Road and The Boulevard in Mt Hawthorn, beside the Mt Hawthorn Lesser Hall and Mt Hawthorn Community Centre.

Braithwaite Park features two playgrounds for younger and older kids to enjoy.

The Braithwaite Park Nature Play Area was designed primarily for 10-14 year olds, thanks to insight from Year 6 and Year 7 students from Mt Hawthorn Primary School. The nature play area includes logs, water features, bamboo pods, stepping stones, ropes, obstacles and two flying foxes.

There is also a traditional playground for younger children and toddlers to enjoy, with lower monkey bars, slides and more.

The park also includes barbecues, drink fountains, picnic tables and public toilets, making it an ideal place for a family picnic or birthday party.

Parking & Access

Free parking spaces are available around the park.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome at Braithwaite Park, but must be kept on a lead at all times. A bin and bags are provided for dog owners.
