Beatty Park ReSERVE

Major improvements are coming to Beatty Park Reserve in North Perth. The project includes a new playground, toilet block and irrigation systems.

The reserve is popular with community members and sporting groups alike and the existing playground, built in 2005, is in need of a refresh.

We ask the community for input on the project in October 2024. Visit Imagine Vincent for more information about the consultation.

Happening now

The new playground is currently being designed. We are planning to have it installed and ready for play this year.

Through feedback from our community, the most popular elements for the new Beatty Park playground were:

  • Slides
  • Swings
  • Monkey bars
  • Tunnels

There was also some interest in a flying fox and spinning type equipment.

Concept designs will be based on this feedback. Both concepts will have a combination of rubber softfall and softfall mulch/sand.

Once these designs are available, we'll share them with you.

Happening next

A new toilet block will be installed as part of this upgrade. Construction is planned for 2025/26.
