Newcastle Street Car Park Upgrade

More parking will be available in Leederville with an upgrade to the carpark at 629 Newcastle Street. The carpark is currently for Water Corporation staff only.

The upgraded car park will be open 24/7 and include 125 public bays. 55 daily permits will be given to Water Corporation staff to be used during office hours.

Under an agreement with Water Corporation, the upgrade will provide more parking options while development takes place in the town centre.

What's involved

The carpark will be resurfaced, drainage upgraded, and new lines marked. Lighting will be improved for safer parking at night, along with landscaping and greenery.

Construction is planned to start soon with Newcastle Street Car Park ready to be used by mid-2025.
