The City of Vincent is seeking feedback on a proposal to request three existing rights of way (laneways in North Perth and Leederville) be made into roads.

The Minister for Lands has authority under section 56 of the Land Administration Act 1997 (WA) to dedicate as road, land that comprises a private road which the public has had uninterrupted use of for a period of not less than 10 years.

The rights of way (ROWs) in this proposal have been used as laneways for over 10 years and are therefore eligible for dedication.

At the 11 March 2025 meeting, Council resolved to provide public notice seeking submissions on the three dedications:

• Lot 51 North Perth
• Lot 66 Leederville
• Lot 67 Leederville
