UPDATE: The demolition has been delayed, pending the results from the 28 July Council Meeting. 

Banks Reserve Pavilion is scheduled to be demolished from 20 July 2021 as per the Banks Reserve Master Plan which was endorsed by Council in 2019.

The City intends to replace the pavilion with green open space prior to the construction of a community plaza.

Mayor Emma Cole has written to residents engaged in the process and those present at the Q&A held in May 2021 to inform them of this decision, which you can download and read below.
