Proposal to Revoke Policy No. 7.5.19 – Amalgamation Condition on Planning Approval

Published on Friday, 21 June 2024 at 11:28:06 AM

The City of Vincent is proposing to revoke Policy No. 7.5.19 – Amalgamation Condition on Planning Approval and is seeking community feedback.

The Policy was adopted by Council on 23 May 2006, and was most recently amended on 6 December 2011.

The purpose of the Policy is to define the criteria for when the amalgamation of land as a condition of development approval would be required.

The Policy sets out when amalgamation would be required where a development is located across two or more lots.

A review of the Policy recommends it should now be revoked.

At its 21 May 2024 meeting, Council endorsed the revocation of the Policy for the purposes of community consultation.

Consultation closes 5pm Friday, 12 July 2024.
