The City of Vincent is seeking feedback on the draft Policy Development and Review Policy.

The policy governs the creation and maintenance of all corporate strategic documents and aims to support transparent and consistent decision making.

The review highlighted opportunities for improvement, including these proposed changes:

• Changing the title to Corporate Document Development Policy to reflect that it also includes strategies and action plans.
• Classifying document amendments as complex, standard or administrative each with its own requirement to guide the level of community consultation to be undertaken.

This approach aims to ensure that all changes are communicated clearly, and that the community is adequately consulted and engaged wherever appropriate.
