The City of Vincent is considering the future use and redevelopment of Halvorsen Hall at Robertson Park and is now inviting submissions from developers and operators.
Halvorsen Hall is located at 176 Fitzgerald Street, Perth which is within Robertson Park. It was built in 1970, originally for the City of Perth Band, but most recently was occupied by a group of artists who have since relocated within Vincent.
The Hall is not part of the Robertson Park Development Plan, works for which will commence this year and be staged over the next four years. This upgrade includes a tennis precinct redevelopment, new public open space area, playground upgrade, new public toilet, and improvements to both the dog exercise area and community lighting. Regular updates on works at the park are available here.
The City of Vincent is seeking to activate the underutilised and vacant Halvorsen Hall and invites suitably qualified developers and operators to submit requests for proposals (RFP) for the future use and tenure of the Hall.
Proponents should provide high-level details of their development concept and demonstrate capacity to deliver the concept.
