Works to improve drainage between Kaata Lane and Clarence Street in Mt Lawley will begin on 9 April 2025.

We will be realigning stormwater pipes to improve water flow and mitigate flooding. This will include CCTV inspections to assess the condition of the pipes before we start work. A CCTV van will be parked in the laneway while we carry out the inspection. 

Access to private properties may be necessary in cases where there is a change of pipeline direction within the property. In such instances, affected residents will be notified in advance. We may require access to drainage pits located on the property.
