Rangers

The City's Ranger Services team are on duty seven days a week and provide assistance with relevant legislation and local law matters including:

  • Parking
    Enforcing parking local laws and administering parking permits to ensure equity, safety, convenience and accessibility to all members of our community (parking in Vincent).
  • Animal control
    Ensuring the registration and control of dogs and cats, including assistance with dog attacks and nuisance barking.
  • Litter and illegal dumping
    Ensuring a clean and safe community through education and enforcement (litter control).
  • Trading in public places
    Regulation, control and management of activities and facilities on the City of Vincent's property, thoroughfares and public places, including administration of permits for filming, fundraising, outdoor eating areas, goods display, portable signage and street entertainment (permit application).
  • Fire hazards
    Ensuring compliance with the provisions of the annual Bushfire Notice (bushfire and fire hazard management).
  • Eyes on the street
    Patrolling our public spaces and places, assisting in the management of events and reporting anti-social, criminal and suspicious activity to WA Police and other agencies as required.

Hours of Service

Monday to Friday  6am to 11pm 
Saturday & Sunday 7am to 11pm

For Ranger Services during office hours, contact the team on 9273 6000 between 8.30am and 5pm. 

After hours

Ranger Services can be contacted on  9273 6000 outside of business hours to assist with emergency situations such as major damage to public property that poses a risk to members of the public, issues with accessing City facilities and reserves, dog attacks and vehicles obstructing access to properties. Non-urgent matters will be attended to during business hours.
