RTR FM - The View From Here

Felicity Groom, Noah Dillon, Demon Days & Adrian Dzvuke

We teamed up with RTRFM for the return of their ‘The View From Here’ series. As part of the City of Vincent’s COVID Arts Relief Project, the series saw some of the State’s finest musical artists performing in some unlikely performance spaces in and around the City of Vincent in a post lockdown Perth.

Felicity Groom – Beatty Park Leisure Centre – Tuesday, 8 September

Undoubtedly one of Western Australia’s best voices and songwriters, Felicity Groom delivered a sublime performance of songs from her new record at the iconic Beatty Park Leisure Centre.

With swimmers lapping below, Felicity and her band (Andrew Ryan and Mike Jelinek) performed songs that wash over you and give you the feeling of enjoying the summer fun of Beatty Park.

Noah Dillon – HBF Park – Tuesday, 15 September

Normally home to the Perth Glory and Western Force, HBF Park provided the perfect stadium rock vibe for local artist Noah Dillon.

Noah and his band rocked the absent the crowd with his songs, blending indie rock and alternative folk with lyrics that allow us into his whimsical and wonderful take on the world.

Demon Days – Mary Street Piazza – Wednesday, 23 September

Sunshine and music were the features of Beaufort Street’s Mary Street Piazza when Demon Days took over the space in September.

This local 4-piece neo-soul act certainly brought the boogie to brighten the already popular Piazza in the heart of the city on Beaufort Street, Mt Lawley.

Adrian Dzvuke – North Perth Bowls Club – Friday, 2 October

Normally home to an amazing community of bowlers and locals, the City’s North Perth Bowls Club recently played host to local singer, songwriter and producer, Adrian Dzuke.

Adrian and his band played their soulful mixture of R&B and Afrobeats, delivering driving melodies, hypnotic rhythms and soaring vocals.
