Hyde Park east playground
We're looking forward to upgrading the playground on the eastern side of Hyde Park in 2025.
This upgrade is for the smaller playground located near the corner of Glendower Street and William Street.
We asked people to tell us what play elements they would like to see at this playground by completing a short survey. Consultation took place in October 2024.
When asked if community preferred a traditional playground layout or a ninja-style course, the ninja-style was the clear favourite.
The play elements prioritised were climbing and balance, and people were keen for the playground to be suitable for a mix of ages.
We will now request concept designs based on this feedback and once these designs are available, we'll share them with the community.

Hyde Park East Playground Renewal
Constructed in 2009, the playground in the ever-popular Hyde Park is being updated and we are asking community to tell us what they would like to see there.
