The City of Vincent is reviewing the Library and Local History Collection Management Policy.

Public notice of the proposed amendments to the policy was approved by the City of Vincent Council at its meeting on 20 August 2024.

A copy of the Council agenda and minutes relating to this approval are available on the website here. 

The substantive changes to the policy are as follows:

1. Clarification of collection management responsibilities and guiding principles
2. Information on collection funding allocations
3. A more clearly defined purpose for collection management

A tracked copy of the policy, highlighting the proposed amendments is available for review on Imagine Vincent.
