Community members are invited to free barbecue and chat to Council and Vincent staff ahead of the Annual General Meeting of Electors (AGM) on 11 December 2024.
The barbecue will be held outside the Administration Building from 5.30pm.
Meet your Mayor and Councillors, chat to staff members about subjects of interest to you in an informal setting and find out what’s happening in Vincent.
Representatives from all departments will be available to answer your questions and provide information on major projects.
Speak with our Community Development team to learn more about the programs and events they deliver for our seniors, youth, LGBTIQA+ and multicultural communities.
There will also be live music from the children’s choir, JRS Singers.
The barbecue will be followed by the AGM which will start at 7pm in the Council Chamber.
The meeting is an opportunity for the community to have their say and provide feedback on how they think the City is delivering on the projects that are important to them.
Electors are invited to raise items of general business to be discussed relating to the City of Vincent. Any motion passed at the meeting is to be considered by Council.
To allow matters to be properly researched and answered, items or questions to be raised can be lodged in writing by Monday, 9 December to governance@vincent.wa.gov.au titled “Electors Meeting – Item / Question”.
A copy of the 2023/24 Annual Report can be viewed on the City’s website. Electors will vote to receive the Annual Report as part of the meeting.
Please RSVP for catering purposes here.
