Families, friends and allies came together for a wonderful community day out at Vincent’s first Rainbow Picnic at Hyde Park last weekend.

Colours of the rainbow shined across the park as 1500 people from all walks of life gathered to kick off PrideFEST.

Attendees enjoyed a picnic under the sun, danced along to performances by OUTdance and took part in a mix of fun and hands-on activities such as a Rainbow Maze, silent disco, arts and craft and a bouncy castle.

They also had the chance to connect with local service providers, clubs and organisations including Rainbow Community House and Perth Rainbow Swans Swimming Club, find out what support is out there and how they can get involved.
