The Blake Street resurfacing project commenced in February 2024 as part of the local road resurfacing program for the 2023/24 financial year.

As part of this work, the City will reinstate a speed hump on Blake Street. Profiling works will be undertaken on Monday the 6 May from 7am and be completed within same day. The asphalt speed hump will be installed on Tuesday 7 May from 7am, all parking within the speed hump zone area will be restricted with cones and no parking signs put in place.

To enable the works to proceed smoothly road closures will be in place within the works zone.  While access to your property will be restricted during these operations, residents may enter and exit under direction of traffic control and full unrestricted access will be restored at the end of each shift.
