The City of Vincent is seeking a director to fill a vacancy on the Board of Management for Leederville Gardens Retirement Village.

The village is a not-for-profit 67-unit independent living facility for people aged over 55, and is owned by Leederville Gardens Inc.

It is governed by a skills-based voluntary Board which meets 12 times a year and is responsible for the strategic direction and major operational decisions.

The Board is looking for someone who can provide skills and experience in these areas:

• asset management
• finance/accounting
• grant writing/fundraising
• industry knowledge – retirement villages
• not-for-profit organisations
