On Friday 16 August the City of Vincent, in partnership with the RSL WA Mt Hawthorn Sub-Branch, held a morning tea in honour of local servicemen and women.
Held at Mt Hawthorn Lesser Hall, the event brought together veterans, serving members, and their immediate families to pay tribute to all who have served in wars, both past and present.
Attendees shared stories and memories. Some spoke of their own experience and others of their connection with war through friends and family members.
We would like to thank everyone who joined in this special occasion, making it a meaningful and heartfelt tribute to our community’s heroes.
