Be part of our community tribute for Remembrance Day

Published on Monday, 2 September 2024 at 1:45:15 PM

For the first time, we will honour Remembrance Day with a grand display of poppies made by the loving hands of the Vincent community.

Groups, schools, families, individuals and organisations are invited to contribute a handmade red poppy to be included in the installation.

A symbol of remembrance, poppies will be woven together to adorn one of the towering trees outside the Vincent Administration Building as a tribute to those who have served.

Here’s how you can get involved in the Poppy Project:

The Poppy Project is about bringing people together to honour the sacrifices of war in a unique and beautiful way. Through art, we hope to create space for people to reflect. Lest we forget.
